Zoe, A Women’s Center, now offers limited Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing in a safe and supportive environment.
Our caring medical staff provides free and confidential* testing, education, and referral support so you can make informed decisions about your health.
PLEASE NOTE: The terms STD and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) are often used interchangeably. STD refers to infections that can cause illness or symptoms, while STI may be used to describe infections with or without symptoms.
What STDs Do We Test For?
Zoe currently provides testing for:
• Chlamydia
• Gonorrhea
• Herpes (Types 1 & 2)
Why should I consider STD testing?
Many STDs do not cause symptoms, so testing is often the only way to know. You may benefit from testing if:
You are sexually active
Regular STD testing is an important part of maintaining your reproductive and sexual health.
You have a new sexual partner
Testing helps you and your partner begin your relationship with confidence and clarity.
You are experiencing possible STD symptoms
Testing can help identify the cause of symptoms so you can receive appropriate care and guidance.
You have multiple sexual partners
Routine testing helps reduce the risk of unknowingly spreading or developing complications from untreated infections.
You want peace of mind
Testing can provide reassurance and help you feel confident about your health, even without symptoms or known risk of exposure.
You want to make informed health decisions
Testing gives you accurate information so you can make confident choices about your body and relationships.
